What do we do at the Eye Clinic? We work with an Optometrist and his business partner to give out free readers to those we can. People can come in, we have them sign in for us, and then they get to pick out their own frames from a wide selection. When this is done, the Doctor will give them a free eye exam and make the lens right there in front of them, and the result is free readers personalized to each persons eye needs and taste. Why is this important to the community? This is important to the community because it helps support eye health of the general population. So many people struggle with not being able to read things up close, or have blurry vision without even realizing it. People neglect eye health for a number of reasons, and the baseline cost for a pair of prescription glasses is upwards of a $100. The readers we offer you can greatly increase your quality of life and the eye exam can help detect important optical health issues early. | What to look out for? -Blurry Vision, or constantly having to squint -Constant headaches -Having to hold things at arms length, or difficulty reading -Severe eye pain -Tired eyes/eye strain -Double vision -Halos or rings around lights -Trouble seeing at night |
